The UAMS Outpatient Pharmacy is your immediate one-stop source to have your prescription medications filled quickly and easily. We’ve made it simple for you to pick up your medications after leaving your doctor’s office, avoiding another stop on the way home. With free 15-minute parking in front of the UAMS Outpatient Center, picking up your prescription is even more hassle-free.

Have you already picked up a prescription at our pharmacy? You can go online and request a refill with our online prescription refill system. After submitting a request, you can easily check the status of your prescription.

You can also drop off prescriptions in person or a physician can send new prescriptions by phone or fax to the pharmacy. Contact the pharmacy at 501-686-5530.

UAMS has also made it cost-effective for UAMS employees and patients to receive several generic prescription medications for $4 without leaving campus. 

The list includes many antibiotics and medications for allergy and cold, cholesterol, diabetes and high blood pressure. The new program allows patients to purchase a 30-day supply of these drugs for $4 at the Outpatient Pharmacy on the first floor of the Outpatient Center. The list of drugs is subject to change. The program is designed for convenience and the list of drugs available for $4 is comparable to commercial pharmacies. No signup is necessary to participate in the program.

The pharmacy is now delivering campus wide for employees and the ability for payroll deduction is in development. When payroll deduction becomes available, employees will be able to order a refill by phone or online, charge it via payroll deduction or another charge card and have it delivered — all without leaving the office.
