The TomoTherapy Hi Art System^® is a revolutionary way to deliver radiation treatment for cancer. This state-of-the-art treatment is offered to UAMS patients at the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (CARTI), located on the UAMS campus adjacent to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.

TomoTherapy allows your UAMS doctor to check the location of your tumor before each treatment and then deliver precise radiation therapy based on a carefully customized plan. TomoTherapy combines precise 3-D imaging from computerized tomography (CT scanning) with highly targeted radiation beams.
