UAMS Medical Center & Clinics
The patient care facilities at UAMS are anchored by our hospital with all private rooms. The care we provide has always been exceptional, and with this facility our patients and families are given care in a much more comfortable and spacious environment. Our facility includes:
- An emergency/trauma center with 34 private rooms and dedicated radiology services
- Surgical, radiological and procedure suites
- An intensive care unit
- A special newborn intensive care nursery (NICU) with private rooms for mom, dad and baby, play space for siblings, kitchen and laundry facilities and additional family areas
- Technologically-advanced cardiovascular suites
Our Psychiatric Research Institute has 40 inpatient rooms that connect to the hospital on the fourth floor.

Our UAMS Reynolds Institute on Aging is housed in a state-of-the-art facility that includes basic and clinical research, educational programs, a primary care clinic, rehabilitation services and administration.
Housed under one roof at our 100,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, our specialists at the UAMS Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute, believe top-notch patient care, education and research go hand in hand.
The UAMS Spine & Neurosciences Institute's 12-story building is home to our spine center, University Rehabilitation, three departments of UAMS College of Medicine, specialty neuroscience programs and the world-renowned Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy.

Our five-story, 110,000 square-foot UAMS Psychiatric Research building offers inpatient and outpatient services, with 40 beds dedicated to psychiatric patients. The Walker Family Clinic is home to the majority of PRI’s outpatient clinics, including individual, group and family therapies.
Our Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is known within Arkansas and throughout the country as a premier cancer research and treatment facility, dedicated to improving the health of all cancer patients.
