Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy allows a doctor to examine the lower portion of your colon using a thin tube. It may be used to help diagnose certain intestinal problems that can cause symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Abnormal growths may also be detected.
