UAMS has a number of options available to patients and visitors looking for a place to eat during the day or at night. The food services listed below are open to all visitors.

Cafeteria

It's the place to eat!  Comfort food awaits you with a full hot breakfast feast from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. or hot entrees and veggies at lunch and dinner.
We also offer:

We're located on the Ground Floor of the Central Building and begin serving lunch at 10:30 a.m. and dinner at 4:30 p.m.  The Cafeteria is open Monday through Friday.  Finish up your meal with a delectable dessert while you're here!

Lobby Café

Hungry for Gourmet?  We serve delicious sandwiches and salads right in the center of our Hospital Lobby.  We are open 24 hours for our visitors and patients who get hungry any time of the day.  We serve hot breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. and hot entree specials starting at 10:30 a.m.  Thin-crust pizza is also available.  Grab a seat and Eat!

Doc Java

Start your morning with a Jolt! Try our wonderful specialty coffee drinks made with Seattle's Best or fill up on a breakfast burrito.  We also offer sandwiches and salads until 4:00 p.m.  Doc Java is open on Monday through Friday beginning at 7:00 a.m.  Come see us on the First Floor of the Ward Tower near the chapel.

The Atrium - Outpatient Center

Need a break from your appointments?  Grab some hot breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. or hot lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  You can also grab-and-go with soups, salads and sandwiches.  Then wash it all down with a coffee or soda!  Our "hot" spot is open on Monday through Friday and located on the First Floor of the Outpatient Center across from the Pharmacy. 

The Gathering Place

Located on the 1st floor of the Cancer Institute, The Gathering Place offers a full selection of Starbucks beverages along with a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. Our breakfast selections include biscuits, turkey bacon, hot cereals, made-to-order omelets and breakfast casserole.  Lunch provides a hot burger and sandwiches, salads and grab-and-go items.  We also offer GLUTEN FREE products in our dessert case as well as sandwiches.

Generations Cafe - Institute on Aging

Warm your belly with hot meals and grilled burgers.  If you're in a hurry, we have a grab-and-go selection of sandwiches and salads.  There is a lovely salad bar available if you want to create your own masterpiece.  Our cafe is located on the Ground Floor.  We are open on Monday through Friday.  We serve breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Code Moo

Get Yummy Yogurt...STAT!  Our shop features live and active cultured yogurt from Honey Hill Farms in Russellville, Arkansas. We offer four flavors weekly and a variety of toppings including fresh seasonal fruit, candy and hot fudge.  Code Moo is located on the Ground Floor of the Central Building next to the Cafeteria.  It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

Canteen

Late night visitor? The UAMS Medical Center Canteen is located on the Ground Floor of the Central Building. It is open 24 hours a day for your convenience. The vending machines offer a variety of soups, sandwiches, chips, snacks, candy bars, assorted soft drinks, bottled water and hot coffee.

Boulevard Bread

This breakfast and lunch bar is located on the first floor of the College of Public Health. Enter the building on Campus Drive near Markham Street. Boulevard Bread is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
