- From the North Little Rock side of the riverfront, you will start cycling westbound toward the Big Dam Bridge and then left off the bridge on the river trail, all the way down past Murray Park.
- Continuing on Riverfront Drive, you’ll turn left onto Titus Trail (Jessie Road) and follow it around, riding on the access road on the north side of Cantrell and then under the Cantrell/La Harpe viaduct to the Episcopal School. The bike trail ends right before the Episcopal Collegiate School (across from Dillard’s corporate offices). You will continue in the inner right lane of traffic on Cantrell until you make a right on N. Cross Street (approximately .5 miles).
- From Cantrell (La Harpe Blvd.), you will make a right onto N. Cross Street and then ride up two blocks to the W. Markham intersection and take a left. There will be an officer at the N. Cross and W. Markham intersection directing you through after you turn left at the stop sign.
- After you turn left on W. Markham, you will travel straight for four blocks, then you will take a left on Arch St. (west side of Little Rock City Hall). Then you will ride down one block and turn right onto the Medical Mile, which has been called the crown jewel of the Arkansas River Trail.
- After riding the medical mile, you will turn right at the historic River Market and then right onto President Clinton Avenue. Heading west, you will then turn right at N. Scott St. and continue onto the Main Street Bridge.
- After crossing the bridge, you will take a right on Washington Ave. and another right on Olive, ending back at the starting location.
To date, the Cycle for Sight ride is the only ride that follows a 14-mile loop around the Arkansas River Trail. After the full 24-mile loop has been completed, we look forward to expanding our ride to include the full route, including Rock Island Bridge, which will close the loop for cyclist and pedestrians.
One lap of this route is approximately 15 miles.
