The allergy doctors at UAMS are experts in sniffling, sneezing, watery eyes, congestion and how to beat them. At our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic, we offer complete diagnosis and treatment for all types of allergies. This includes:
  • An extensive history
  • A physical examination
  • Skin and blood serum testing for specific allergies
UAMS ENT allergy services and treatmentWe'll use your history along with dietary techniques as part of an allergy evaluation to determine if food allergies are responsible for any of your symptoms. For some food allergy patients, we'll also do dietary elimination and oral food challenge testing. Detailed food avoidance and substitution recommendations are available for patients with common food allergies.

If allergy shots are recommended, you can receive your shots in our clinic, or we'll be happy to prepare your extract and mail it to your primary care doctor so you can receive your shots there.

Working in a teaching and research institution, our doctors have access to information about the latest medical advances, new drugs and research findings. If your allergic reactions include eczema, rashes or other skin conditions, we can consult with our UAMS
dermatologists to help relieve your symptoms. If you have asthma caused by allergies, you may also want to consult with our lung specialists.

Whether you suffer from seasonal allergies from
hay fever or grasses and trees or from potentially life-threatening food allergies, the doctors and staff of the UAMS ENT Clinic will work with you to help relieve your symptoms with your lifestyle in mind.

If you'd like to see one of our allergy doctors, please ask your primary care doctor for a referral.
