Dr. Mary E. Howell is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Internal Medicine Department, Division of Hematology/Oncology. She specializes in hospice and palliative care at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
Dr. Howell received her medical degree from UAMS in 2001 and completed a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at UAMS in 2011. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Howell was a licensed practicing veterinarian for 14 years.
