Daniel A Davis, M.D. is a staff physician and Associate Professor in the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology at UAMS Medical Center. He specializes in skin cancer surgery and dermatopathology.
Dr. Davis received his degree in English from the University of Denver and his medical degree from the University of Colorado. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Houston and a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Following four years of faculty practice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he matriculated to the University of Iowa for consecutive procedural dermatology and research fellowships.
Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, American Society of Dermatopathology, and the Arkansas Dermatological Society. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Davis sees skin cancer surgery patients only at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. His primary research interests include procedural dermatology and histological techniques.
