The UAMS College
of Pharmacy has over 50 years of rich history in preparing its graduates
for a life-long journey of learning and professional development.
Pharmacists play a vital role in the health of their communities in a variety of
settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, nuclear pharmacies,
community pharmacies, and within the pharmaceutical industry.
How You Can Help
The UAMS College of Pharmacy seeks private funds from individuals,
corporations and foundations to provide student scholarships, faculty
endowed funds, and annual operating funds. They allow the college to
initiate and strengthen programs and provide a stabile source of
support, over and above other income sources.
Tomorrow’s pharmacists deserve the best possible educational experience
to prepare them for service in new, critical areas of the profession.
Funding Opportunities
Private gifts are
crucial, if we are to enhance our program and attract and retain our
most creative and passionate professors and researchers. With your
gifts, you can help strengthen the College in four key areas:

Endowed faculty chairs and professorships will enable College to recruit
nation’s leading professors in critical new specialty areas.

Endowed scholarships, fellowships and post-graduate program funds will
assure that deserving students who wish to enter pharmacy and then to
explore a variety of professional areas, will be encouraged and assisted
in their pursuits.

State of the art facilities and laboratories will attract gifted,
innovative teachers and researchers and will enhance the experience for
our students as well as the College’s national reputation.

Outreach programs will allow dedicated pharmacists to apply knowledge
and give latest pharmaceutical care to every areas of the state.

The Poison Control Center serves
the entire state emergency information related to poisoning, infectious disease and public health.
