The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is the state’s premier cancer research facility and one of the most respected cancer centers in the United States. It is also the only cancer treatment facility in Arkansas that offers care for everyone, regardless of economic status.
How you can help
Imagine a future without cancer. We do, every day. In a relentless pursuit of better cancer treatments:
- our scientists conduct life-saving research;
- our physicians provide world-class care to patients from every county in Arkansas, every state and more than 50 countries;
- our organization teaches healthcare professionals of the future; and
- our entire team participates in far-reaching cancer prevention outreach programs.
Please support our doctors, researchers, nursing staff, patients and their families. We are working hard to raise support for a campus-wide campaign (Campaign Imagine) to ensure a healthier future for Arkansans in addition to a $150 million campaign for cancer research and care. Your donations will enable our mission to continue, our programs to prosper and our ambition to flourish.
Funding Opportunities
Building Expansion Project
Our Cancer Institute must raise $150 million to build a 12-story expansion and fund research. The space will more than double our capacity for clinical care, providing more comfort for patients and their families.
Research
No effective battle against cancer can be waged without an unwavering commitment to faculty and research. The Cancer Institute is focused on developing new and better ways to predict, diagnose, treat and prevent many types of cancer. With clinical research trials available here in our state, Arkansans do not have to leave their homes and travel to academic cancer centers in other parts of the country to receive the latest innovative treatment options. Your gift will strengthen the momentum of The Cancer Institute’s research enterprise. Donate online today.
Education
Not only do we make discoveries that improve patient care – we also share our knowledge with students, medical professionals, patients and the public. By investing your gift with our initiatives in education, you help us provide the information that enables patients in Arkansas and those abroad to enjoy healthier, more independents lives. Donate online today.
Outreach Patient Care
The Cancer Institute has a profound commitment to serving the needs of patients who face financial burdens. Your generous gift to our programs in outreach care will help ensure care and compassion for patients who have financial needs or do not have adequate facilities in their home towns throughout Arkansas.
