Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy

The Myeloma Institute Clinic is housed in the Jackson T. Stephens Spine and Neurosciences Institute.
|
|
Since
1989 the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy at UAMS has grown from a
concept into a highly regarded research and clinical care program. It is
the largest and most comprehensive program in the world for the treatment of
and research in multiple myeloma and related disorders.
Recognized as international experts, Myeloma Institute
physicians and scientists conduct novel research that is translated into curative
therapies. Treatment regimens tested through clinical trials at the Myeloma
Institute are adopted by major cancer centers.
Patients come to the Myeloma Institute from every state in
the U.S.
and from over 50 countries around the globe.
How You Can Help
Today, more and more patients treated at the Myeloma Institute can count on lengthy remissions with excellent quality of life, and in many cases, can be considered cured.
Developments in treatment and care are enhanced through the generosity of patients, families, and friends, who support the research at the Myeloma Institute.
Your gift makes a difference in driving the research forward - making certain that the healthcare needs of myeloma patients from Arkansas, across the U.S., and around the world are met.
