We have the only board-certified physicians in maternal-fetal medicine in Arkansas. And the only Arkansas maternal-fetal medicine doctors recognized by HealthGrades® are available at UAMS. Our doctors specialize in the assessment, diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, including problems associated with the following:

In addition, we work closely with the board-certified genetic counselors in the Arkansas Genetics Program to screen for genetic disorders or hereditary risks, such as spinal bifida or Down's Syndrome. If needed, we also can provide specialized services such as fetal blood sampling.
