The UAMS Section of Genitourinary Oncology is committed to conducting ongoing research to improve treatment for genitourological cancers. If you refer your patients, they may require longer visits for study procedures. We often need to contact you for additional information and follow up of your patients in our clinical trials, and we appreciate your ongoing collaboration.

Our research program conducts FDA-approved pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. The well-qualified UAMS research staff works closely with patients and physicians to collect data and assess the safety and efficacy of investigational new drugs and treatments.

All trials are conducted within the guidelines and regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the research policies of UAMS, and in keeping with good clinical practices (GCPs).

Our current trials include research regarding prostate cancer and renal cancer conducted by Dr. Rabii Madi.
