Donor Recognition - University of Arkansas Medical Sciences

For some, supporting UAMS is a way to express appreciation for an education that laid the foundation for a successful professional life. Others partner with UAMS in this way to enable the naming of a facility or program, or to honor someone who has made a lasting difference through a scholarship or endowment. Finally, some make annual leadership gifts as part of an overall financial or philanthropic plan, or for other worthy purposes.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has the following gift societies to recognize cumulative giving:

Friends of UAMS
Honors the individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations that have contributed $25,000 or more in cumulative lifetime gifts. These donors will be recognized at a bi-annual reception beginning in 2009.

Society of the Double Helix
Honoring individuals and entities which have contributed $100,000 or more to UAMS.
The Legacy Society
Recognizes all past and present donors who made or are making gifts through planned giving.
College of Medicine Founders Society
Members pledge or give at least $10,000 to the College of Medicine Founders Society Endowment.
Chancellor's Circle
Membership is open to those who make a gift of $1000 or more.
College of Medicine Dean's Society
Recognizing alumni who make unrestricted gifts of between $500 and $1500.
College of Nursing Dean's Circle of 100
Membership is open to those who make a gift of $1000 or more.
College of Pharmacy Dean's Society
Recognizing alumni who give gifts of between $500 to $1000 or more.
College of Health Related Professions (CHRP) Dean's Society
Recognizing persons providing support for areas of greatest need, from $100-$1000 or more.
