As the only teaching hospital in Arkansas, we can provide state-of-the-art technology and treatment options for you. Our services include inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. We have all the latest equipment, including the robotic
da Vinci Surgical System. Traditionally, women with cervical cancer have been treated with radical hysterectomies that remove all their reproductive organs. We now can use a robotic procedure to remove a patient's cancerous cervix through the abdomen while preserving her ability to have children.

No other hospital or treatment center in the state can match the credentials of our doctors in gynecologic oncology at UAMS. We have three board certified gynecologic oncologists on staff to serve our patients. Radiation treatment is coordinated with radiation oncology treatment centers throughout the state to serve you close to home.

Our oncology nurses provide support and follow-up for patients receiving both chemotherapy and radiation treatments. UAMS also sponsors and participates in local
and national clinical research trials, offering you new and innovative treatment not available anywhere else in the state.

Patients are scheduled by appointment through physician referral only.
