Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging Expansion

Construction is expected to start in 2010 on a four-floor, 55,000-square-foot expansion to the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.

The expansion is being made possible by a $30.4 million gift from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. A 1997 gift of $29.7 million established the original 101,000-square-foot Institute on Aging facility.

The additional space will allow continued growth of clinical, research and outreach programs in the Reynolds Department of Geriatrics.

The expansion also will include a pedestrian walkway connecting the building to the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute a block away.
